In this module you will deepen your knowledge on current challenges and developments in the area of human rights and governance. Some of these developments are due to the impact of non-governmental actors, such as companies or international financial institutions, on human rights. You will learn about interconnection between human rights and business, and which governance mechanisms are applied here. In addition, this module tackles challenges and opportunities of governance and human rights in digital age. You will learn how technological advancement could help promote and protect good governance and human rights or be the source of problems and violations.
